Piano Lessons in North Scottsdale AZ Enrolling Now
Bach to Rock in Scottsdale, AZ is enrolling piano students of all ages and skill levels. The piano is a springboard for the study of all other instruments. On the piano, students learn to read notes simultaneously in two different clefs (treble and bass) while developing their sense of polyphony (hearing more than one sound at the same time). The piano is physically easy to play, making it possible for a student to make a good musical sound or combination of notes on the piano faster than on any other instrument. This reinforces the desire to learn.
Our teachers have availability for private & semi-private lessons. We also offer a beginner Kids n Keys class for ages 5-7, which introduces children to the fundamentals of music and piano playing in a fun group-setting.
Check out our student and staff performances around Scottsdale and Phoenix at places like Tempe Arts Park, Fireside Community Center and McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. See our events page for more info.
You can contact us at 480-990-8000 or email@example.com and we'll be happy to answer all your questions about piano and keyboard lessons as well as all other instruments we offer like guitar, drums, voice, brass, woodwinds and strings.

Music for Students of All Ages at Scottsdale’s New Bach to Rock Music School
Bach to Rock (B2R), America’s music school for students of all ages, announced today that its first Arizona location is opening in Scottsdale. The community is invited to the grand opening festivities on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Scottsdale Promenade, 7325 E. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd #104, Scottsdale, AZ, 85260. Attendees are welcome to tour the school, enjoy a free music lesson, learn about individual lessons and group classes, try out free toddler “Mommy and Me” classes, enter into prize drawings and giveaways, check out the recording studio, and meet the teachers.
“Bach to Rock offers aspiring musicians an opportunity to express themselves in a supportive and team-oriented learning environment. They get to play the music they love and also play in groups from the start. It’s a distinctly different approach that inspires students and delivers a lasting and meaningful experience,” said President of Bach to Rock, Brian Gross.
A Scottsdale couple, Wes and June Gross, are first-time Bach to Rock franchisees opening the new school. Married for over 40 years, each enjoyed successful careers before joining Bach to Rock as retirees a year ago. June, a retired school teacher, and Wes, a former wealth management entrepreneur, real estate sales executive and former Air Force, airline and corporate pilot, are embracing the new endeavor with enthusiasm and vigor. The couple plans to open two more schools in the area.
“We are very excited about this new stage in our lives and are eager to help students of all ages in the Scottsdale area explore their musical potential,” said Wes Gross. “We have developed our own motto, ‘creating lifelong musicians.’ And that can start at any age from as young as 2 years old to 92,” he continued. “It’s been thrilling to build our team, led by our site director, John Munt. He is a strong leader and brings 20 years of experience in music education and music entertainment to our school.”
Bach to Rock Scottsdale will offer a variety of programs for students of all ages, including individual lessons, group classes such as Rock Band, early childhood programs for children as young as toddler and preschool age, summer camps and birthday parties. Studies have shown that learning to play music in a group helps students learn teamwork, develop social skills and build self-esteem, among other benefits. The school will also feature Bach to Rock’s new Touch Screen Tablet Technology, which allows teachers to customize lessons; gives parents the ability to view their children’s progress and homework; and provides administrators with the necessary tools to ensure students are receiving a well-balanced music education.

Changing the Way Students Learn Music
Bach to Rock is reshaping music education on a national scale by turning solitary, boring music lessons into a group activity that is more like a team sport. B2R focuses on providing a well-balanced music education because, ultimately, that is what parents are looking for. Unlike other music school franchises, Bach to Rock has an extensive curriculum. Students learn the intricacies of music — from theory to how to read music. Bach to Rock is the music school kids would have designed for themselves. They get to jam with other kids right away and play current hits. The learning is the same, but the enjoyment factor is much higher.

This is our student of the month: Indica! She has been playing piano for one year now! When she isn't playing music, she enjoys biking and disc golf. A fun fact about Indica is that her name means "night star princess protected by wolves". Her favorite thing about being a part of Bach to Rock is singing with her band Purple Nightmare, as well as playing piano with her mom who also takes lessons here. Congrats Indica!
